C

D
Install a modular plug-in telephone RFI filter close to the telephone device
Answer Notes
Telephones and their connected wiring can inadvertently act as antennas, picking up strong RF fields from a nearby amateur radio transmission. If your station is operating properly and legally, the fault lies with the telephone's lack of sufficient shielding and RF filtering.
The easiest, safest, and most effective solution is to install a modular plug-in telephone RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) filter right at the affected telephone device. This filters out the RF energy before it can enter the phone's internal audio circuitry and cause audible interference.
Amateur operators should never make internal adjustments to commercial telephone equipment, as this can be unsafe and violate telecommunications regulations.
