C
At any time after written notification by the FCC of such inspection
D
Only when presented with a valid warrant by an FCC official or government agent
Answer Notes
The FCC grants you a license to use the public airwaves, and a condition of accepting this license is that you must allow the FCC to inspect your station and records to ensure compliance with the rules. This inspection can be requested at any time by an authorized FCC representative.
You do not need to be served a warrant, nor is a 10-day or written notification legally required. While the FCC rarely conducts random inspections of amateur stations, you must comply immediately if an official representative makes the request.
