C

D

Answer Notes
When you are testing your equipment, your radio is still emitting radio frequency energy into the shared spectrum, even if you are not intending to communicate with another person. Because of this, regulatory authorities require you to follow the exact same identification rules as you would for a normal contact.
To legally identify the source of the test signal and prevent anonymous interference, you must transmit your call sign. There is no "test exemption" for station identification in standard amateur radio operations.
Options suggesting that brief tests are exempt, or that identification is only required on voice modes, are completely false. All modes and all tests require the operator to follow standard ID procedures.
