D

Answer Notes
Full break-in operation, often referred to by the Q-signal 'QSK', is a CW (Morse code) operating mode where the station's receiver briefly activates during the tiny spaces between transmitted dots and dashes (elements).
This extremely rapid switching allows the transmitting operator to hear if another station is transmitting on the same frequency. It permits the receiving station to 'break in' and interrupt the sender immediately if a message needs to be repeated, rather than waiting for the sender to finish their entire transmission.
