Answer Notes
The 10-meter band spans from 28.000 MHz to 29.700 MHz. While the band is divided into different segments for data, RTTY, and phone (voice) by FCC rules, Continuous Wave (CW) emissions are legally permitted across the entire amateur band for General class operators.
Although CW is traditionally concentrated at the lower edges of the bands by convention and voluntary band plans, FCC Part 97 rules authorize CW to be transmitted on any frequency authorized to the control operator.
Since General class operators have privileges across the entirety of the 10-meter band, they are legally permitted to use CW anywhere within it.
