Answer Notes

In the amateur radio Q-code system, 'QRP' stands for reducing transmitter power or operating at low power. Historically, a station would send 'QRP?' to ask if they should decrease their power, or 'QRP' to state they are decreasing power. Today, QRP is widely used as a noun or adjective to describe the distinct challenge of communicating with very low output power. By strict convention, QRP operation usually means transmitting with 5 watts or less on CW (Morse code) and 10 watts or less on SSB (voice). The distractors are completely made up. 'Quick Response Protocol' is an invented term designed to trick you, and it has nothing to do with remote control or traffic nets.
