Answer Notes

Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) requires candidates to have a valid mailing address in Canada to receive their Amateur Radio Operator Certificate and call sign. There is no citizenship, permanent residency, or minimum age requirement to become an amateur radio operator in Canada. Anyone who can successfully pass the examination and provide a valid Canadian address is fully eligible for certification.
